Goal: To provide an overview of unmanned aerial systems (UAS) technology, regulations and best practices to ranchers as well as other UC Cooperative Extension and National Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) affiliates.
This course content is the result of a collaborative effort between the UC ANR IGIS Statewide Program, http://igis.ucanr.edu, the UC Berkeley, Geospatial Innovation Facility (GIF), http://gif.berkeley.edu/, and the UC Merced, Mechatronics, Embedded Systems and Automation (MESA) Lab, http://mechatronics.ucmerced.edu/.
Additionally, we are pleased to be partnering with the National Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) to offer this workshop to the greater Inyo and Mono county region.
Audience: Land managers, agriculturalists, wildlife enthusiasts and other UC ANR associates who are interested in monitoring land holding and/or other regional features of interest.
