WebGIS and Mobile Data Collection
Goal: Provide an overview of web-based geospatial technology to UC Cooperative Extension personnel, as well UC students and public and private resource professionals.
Audience: UC Cooperative Extension Advisors
and Specialists, as well as UC students and public and private resource professionals.

Cost: $30 for members of UC ANR (account # and contact information required), and $60 for non-UC affiliates.
The course cost will include a meal and refreshments. UC ANR members’ costs will be partially supported by the IGIS Statewide

Requirements: Participants must have an ArcGIS Online account and bring a laptop computer to the workshop with Survey123 Connect software installed on it. Participants must also bring either an Android or iPhone smartphone with the Survey123 for ArcGIS app installed on it.
ArcGIS Online - Directions for accessing ArcGIS Online will be e-mailed to you before the event. Please login to the account in advance of the workshop to ensure that it is properly set up before the workshop date. If you do not receive an e-mail or have technical issues with your account, please

Survey123 is a three part tool for developing a mobile data collection app, including: a desktop application, a web portal, and a mobile app.
Survey123 Connect is the desktop application for creating your survey questionnaire. It is available for Apple, Windows and Linux. To download and install this application, please Click Here, and scroll down to the very bottom of the page for the three download options.
Survey123 for ArcGIS is a mobile app that can be downloaded for free on iPhones via iTunes, and via the Google Play Store for android phones.
