Host UC Natural Reserve System data

Client(s): Lobsang Wangdu and Kevin Browne

Request: The UC Natural Reserve System asked IGIS to host its GIS data on our servers. We hosted their boundary and parcel maps for all 39 of our reserves.  In the future we will add additional layers such as climate change maps, endangered species ranges, vegetation maps as these become available in the near future.

Outcome: IGIS consolidated NRS’s data into the three layers representing boundaries, parcels, and an additional layer that show the location of additional properties managed by NRS. IGIS also created additional layers that highlight protected areas near the NRS Reserves. All of these layers have been added to an ArcGIS Online Webmap and Group.
